Escape Villa is in Haad Salad on Koh Phangan, with a coastal setting and a private outdoor area. The nearby shoreline includes Haad Chaloklum, 250 m away, and Ao Hin Ngam, 650 m away; Haad Thong Lang is 1.1 km from the villa. The beaches around this part of the island are suited to swimming, while the villa’s sea views, terrace and pool give you space to enjoy the coast at home. Baan Chaloklum, a fishing village on the north coast, is also nearby, with local places to eat and boats serving the surrounding bays.
Ferries arrive at Thong Sala on the south-west coast, the island’s main port. From there, shared songthaews serve Haad Salad, and taxis or a hired scooter can cover the onward journey. Thong Sala is about 9.0 km from the villa; it has the island’s night market, banks and hospitals. Koh Phangan has no airport, so air travellers arrive via Koh Samui or Surat Thani and continue by boat. Free private parking is available at the villa, which is useful if you are travelling around the island by road. The island’s roads connect the west and north coasts, while routes to some eastern bays are steep.
For a nearby waterfall, Wang Sai is 1.2 km away; Wat Chaloklum is 1.3 km away, and Baan Chaloklum is 1.4 km away. Koh Ma, known for its coral reef and snorkelling, is 2.1 km away. Phaeng Waterfall and the trails in the island’s interior make a longer outing from Haad Salad. February to April is generally the driest, calmest period on the Gulf coast. June to September brings short storms, while October to December is the wettest period on Koh Phangan.
